Here's an Interview we had with him,

1. A brief intro of yourself

My name is Prinson Monthero and I’m from Udupi , Karnataka . I’m an singer/songwriter and a music producer influenced by the pop , Indian-pop and Bollywood music culture.

2. When and how did you start the music journey?

My musical journey started as a kid performing in school . As time went by my passion for music grew . I learned to play the guitar , formed a band like everyone else . Later I discovered how people were making covers of songs and that’s what I wanted to do . I tried recording my self and in the process I found out that I could actually write and come up with melodies . I wrote the first song the day just before my exam and I asked a friend if he’d do the music for it which didn’t work out for sure . So I had to figure things out myself and one by one through YouTube I learnt producing music and now I’ve released three songs and many more to come.

3. How has your journey been ever since.

Its always been confusing and hard to figure out the way to get to things .but looking back at it ,its really fascinating just how things fell into place . From singing in school ,learning to play the guitar , forming bands , performing in different places ,posting the first YouTube video, learning different software's to edit (be it for music ,photos /videos ) to now at a point where I can write and produce the ideas and thoughts that are in my mind into a song.

4. How have you grown as a musician?

Always wanting to be a singer ,and trying to get there got me learning things I never expected . There was a time when I used to record on my phone , try to edit it ,and get frustrated . But looking back at the old videos I had put up of myself , Ive grown a lot in terms of my skills and the way I interpret and present a new idea, And still trying to get better. The Internet has always been inspiring in terms of new music, New sounds , Great artists and their journeys. In 2022 I moved to Mumbai to learn more about music production and pursue it as a profession , and It has been great to collaborate with new people, learn new stuff everyday.

5. What are your plans for the future in this field?

To post more content , Collaborate with better artists And yes definitely I am working on an album which coming soon!

6. What’s the most memorable moment of your musical experience till date?

Definitely the first time of me performing with my guitar in a fest And there was pin drop silence till the song ended ,followed by a really loud cheer which was really surprising ! Another one has to be me as a kid getting fascinated by a teacher who was playing the guitar , Then coming home and trying to build my own guitar from scratch with cardboard and rubberband which is kind of funny when I think of it now.
